The number of people moved to the nearest suburb from the city center of London has reached the highest figure of the last 9 years. According to the information provided by Homes and Propert, 74,000 people chose to move to the nearest suburbs for the reason of expensive property prices in 2016.

The increase in the square meter prices of property in London is known as the main reason for the move from the city center every year. The price of a house in the center of London doubles the price of houses outside of London.
The Tanridge Survey, located 45 minutes away by train from London, is the most preffed place for those who flee from the city center due to high property prices.
Broxbourne is one of the other prominent towns on the list as it is close to the M25 and A10 motorways and 30 minutes away from Liverpool Street.
80% of British people who fleed from London have chosen to live in the southeastern and eastern regions. However, the percentage of people living in the northern regions of London is increasing.
