Believe it or not, according to a study, London has 3000 parks and gardens.
It can be said that London is a perfect city. But it should also be noted that it is lacking and insufficient. Unfortunately, the cheapest houses are not in this city or there are no all-day entertainment centers. There are also major problems with transportation. But when compared to other big European cities, our parks are way ahead of them. It is very clear that we have many parks and this has been proven once again by a review.
According to the research conducted by the site called Nerdwallet.com, 30 big cities in Europe were examined. At the end of this review, London was the first with 3000 parks and green spaces, Berlin was the second with 2500 parks and green spaces, and Vienna was the third with 2000 parks and green spaces. Barcelona and Rome, on the other hand, lagged far behind in terms of parks and green spaces.
Of course, everyone’s expectations from a park can be very different, but you can be sure that you can find a park that will meet this in London. In London, you can find the magnificent Royal parks Hyde and Regents, as well as the great natural areas with ponds such as Hampstead Heath and Richmond.
Here is the list of major European cities with green spaces:
- London – 3,000
- Berlin – 2500
- Vienna – 2,000
- Hamburg – 1,460
- Paris – 480
- Istanbul – 303
- Prague – 200
