In a survey of 195 countries, the countries with the best health system in the world were ranked.
In the study conducted by The Lancet, a medical journal published in England, the health systems of the world were evaluated. The magazine ranks 195 countries having the best health care system.
In the study it was seen that the UK health system came to be behind countries such as Germany, Ireland, Spain, Slovenia and Italy and ranked at 30th place. The United Kingdom scored 84.6 out of 100 points and shared the same points with Cyprus, Qatar, Malta, Portugal and Czech Republic.
The United Kingdom saw a score of 74.3 points in the 1990 study, and increased by 10.3 points over the past 17 years.
While Andorra ranks first with 94.6 points, Central African Republic and Chad have the worst health system with 29 points. Turkey is not ranked among the first 20 countries.
